MPEG Stream Converter for DVB-ASI, SMPTE310M, and DVB-SPI

The CL-350S is a robust MPEG transport stream converter that is compliant with both ATSC and DVB standard. It converts MPEG transport stream streams between ASI, SMPTE 31 OM & DVB SPI (LVDS). Any of the three formats at the input is converted into all three formats (ASI, SMPTE 31OM and DVB SPI (LVDS)), available simultaneously, at the output. Output is also converted to the fibre optic signal and can be transported up to 11 Okm (two units are required).

Features


- All outputs are active simultaneously
- Packet size is selectable between 188 and 204 bytes
- Configuration settings are retained in the event of a power loss
- Interfaces: ASI, SMPTE 31 OM and DVB SPI (LVDS)
- 4K by 9bit buffers are included at each SMPTE 31 OM and DVB SPI (LVDS) output to manage short data bursts and to ensure
smooth conversion
- The SMPTE 31 OM output has a null packet insertion capability that converts lower input bit rate transport streams to the ATSCw
- 19.392654 MHz data rate. Null packet insertion ensures that the converted streams playback smoothly without artifacts
- DVB-ASI Data Rate: 270 MHz +/- 100pm
- Bidirectional Transmission available
